Individual therapy can help address and change negative patterns, past trauma, and other issues affecting your mental health. It's a space to learn more about yourself, free from the worries and constraints that hold you back, and to make healthy behavior changes that improve your overall mental health and wellness.
One breath, one goal, one step... It begins with one—you.
Individual therapy, or psychotherapy, involves one-on-one sessions with a therapist to address internal challenges. These challenges often manifest as problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, or somatic responses—sensations we experience in the body. Additionally, many individuals utilize ongoing psychotherapy as a means of self-growth and self-actualization. Therapy can assist people in confronting obstacles that impede their emotional and mental well-being.
While some individuals find therapy enjoyable and embrace the journey of gaining deeper self-awareness, understanding their inner dynamics, and improving their relationships. Others may initially resist the idea of therapy. I work with clients across this spectrum, including those with mixed feelings about starting therapy.
Ultimately, therapy can help increase positive emotions, such as joy, peace, self-esteem, spiritual connection, and love.
